Summer Reading Fun

 Greetings, dear readers!

I overheard some students this morning say we only had 22 days left of school, which is crazy! This school year has gone so quickly. I guess that means this is the final edition of our school library newsletter for this year. It's been an extraordinary journey of exploration, learning, and discovery, and we couldn't be more grateful for your enthusiasm and support throughout.

Here's what's happening in the library as we bid farewell to another fantastic year:

1.Celebrating Reading Achievements: Let's take a moment to applaud all the dedicated readers who have embarked on literary adventures this year. From devouring classics to exploring new genres, your passion for reading has been truly inspiring.

2.Return Your Library Books: As the school year comes to an end, I kindly remind everyone to return any borrowed library books. Your cooperation ensures that our collection remains vibrant and accessible to all. Remember, returning books on time allows others to enjoy them too! Books need to be returned by June 4th. All students with no overdue books will be entered in a draw for a summer prize basket. The draw date will be June 10th.

3. Summer Reading Recommendations: Looking for some captivating reads to dive into during the summer break? Fear not! The Taber Public Library staff have curated a fantastic selection of summer reading recommendations suitable for all ages and interests. Don’t bother paying for audible or purchasing e-books online. They are all available through the Chinook Arch Regional Library System for FREE.

Download the LIBBY app and enter in your public library card details. If you don’t have a library card you can easily get one online. Check them out! Whether you're lounging by the pool or embarking on a road trip, these books are sure to keep you entertained.

4. Thank You, Volunteers and Supporters: A heartfelt thank you to all the Fox Force volunteers, teachers, and community members who have generously contributed their time, resources, and support to our library this year. Your dedication and passion for literacy have enriched our programs and initiatives, making a positive impact on our school community.

As we reflect on the memories and accomplishments of the past year, let's carry the joy of reading and learning with us into the summer break and beyond. Wishing you all a safe, restful, and book-filled summer vacation!

Happy reading and we will see you next year,

Vicki
